You really need to check these guys out. They're on tour with Jars right now and are awesome. In some songs, the strumming is extremely fast. But, they're really excellent - a band for the entire family. Verse: C D There's a place where I come from It's the place where I belong Where you will never die Wipe the tears off from your eyes Sun and moon and stars above Never match this perfect love Just look to the painter's hands Like an ocean meets its sand chorus: Digigee digigee dime dime Digigee digigee dime (2x) Twisted castles in her hair Building mansions in the air Making profits, lending loans Ancient tv's golden telephones But within this misty cave Lies a painter blind but brave paints the story of where we've been where we are, where we could have been chorus 4x so kiss the light, seize the day shine your shoes, come to play sun is shining, sky is clear leave your worries with your fears light eternal, sleep inside to my heart and through my eyes bringing in sweetness to my soul close your eyes, be made whole The lines in the chorus are split, with a pause in the middle. In the chorus, use a pull off method while strumming to get the effect they use. riff: -------- -----12-14------14-12 12-12-----12-12 This comes in on the second verse. If you only play in with the chorus, the song'll sound fine. I just saw them last night for the second time this month and these are the chords they played. I figured out the riff today.
